Hot Mommas = Dynamic women.
Proud of the women in your life? We are too. The Hot Mommas® Project is an award-winning social venture that pairs the world’s largest digital case study library of female role models with cutting-edge teaching tools and coaching. The result? Confidence and key success factor increases of up to 300 percent among women in Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and beyond. We’re the world’s largest women’s case study library with a crazy name and research-based workshops that move the needle on self-efficacy,
We’ve cracked the code, and now we bring it to you. We’ve taken the stories of your moms, daughters, sisters, friends, and aunts, made them teachable, won awards, and then channeled all that into classes that make a measurable difference in key success factors for women.
Here’s how we did it: The idea for The Hot Mommas® Project started in 1998 when our founder was in business school. Years later, the first Hot Mommas® Project case study was borne while teaching at the George Washington University School of Business. Based on the Harvard Business School case method, our first case started with a story about an entrepreneurial protagonist as she navigated work and life challenges. After adding an attention-getting name, students in the dreaded post-lunch class time slot were fully attentive. That case study – or teachable story – won a prestigious academic honor: A Coleman Foundation Case Award and published in a Pearson textbook. The research collective was also included in a course suite winning the US Association of Small Busines and Entrepreneurship Excellence in Entrepreneurship Education Award. From there, the Hot Mommas® Project went digital, and global, in 2009. From students to princesses to stay at home moms to CEOs, the depth and breadth of our stories is rich and breathtaking. The next year, with the help of our partners, we became the world’s largest women’s case library.
The Hot Mommas Project: A Sisterhood of Success. The sisterhood of storytellers served as mentors. With the data from the cases, The Hot Mommas® Project developed our workshop series: WBL: Women’s Business Leadership, for cultural exchange students, and WLA: Women’s Leadership Academy. These classes crack the success code: Imagine walking into a room (real or virtual) with one mindset about your confidence, goals, and outlook on success. Next, imagine walking out of that room having measurably increased these factors.
We welcome you to become involved in what is now more than a venture.
Thanks to you, a globe full of fantastic women, and the men who support us, we now have a solution through our Hot Mommas® Project cases and WLA and WBL workshops. Our single focus is currently to distribute this solution – to raise confidence around key success factors – as widely as possible, and to have fun doing it.
Over the past decade the Hot Mommas® Project has become a digital democracy of stories, the world’s largest for women – in fact. However, it’s not enough just to be the biggest anymore. It’s not even good enough to be the best. Psssst…we need to pass it on.
Here’s where you come in.
Adding your name our Hot Mommas® Project alert list is one way to stay involved. But there’s plenty more.
