Lorraine stood before the crowd of Washington, DC women, proudly announcing her age: “I’m 65,” she said and adds, “I know some people don’t like to talk about their age.” But Lorraine is happy to have gotten this far. She is a recovered 40-year heroin addict. Lorriane was in jail. Her two year-old daughter was taken from her 38 years ago, never to return.
